Dan has been in the financial services arena for over 30 years with a primary focus on tax and estate planning for high worth individuals. He spent five years in public accounting with a medium sized CPA firm in New York City. Dan then became Controller for a large multi-national manufacturing firm for over 12 years prior to setting up his own accounting firm in 1985. Daniel J. McMahon & Company is involved in the audits of companies and organizations in many areas and the firm has been peer reviewed four times. They are also involved in income tax planning and preparation. About18 years ago, he founded his own financial planning firm (fee only) with a special interest in the philanthropic giving. Dan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, with a BBA in Accounting and is a long term resident in Westchester County, NY.
