Mr. Rao is a partner in the New York office of Seyfarth Shaw
LLP. He regularly counsels corporate clients on preventive
employment policies and practices involving all areas of state
and federal employment law including wage and hour issues,
discrimination, reasonable accommodation, harassment, trade
secrets, unfair competition, breach of contract, privacy,
hiring, termination, discipline, investigations, leaves of
absence, handbooks and best practices. He has considerable
litigation experience, including defending federal and state
wage and hour collective and class actions, and lead
responsibility in multi-party lawsuits, arbitrations,
mediations, and administrative hearings. He has lectured for
various employer-oriented groups, such as human resources
associations and Chambers of Commerce, on a variety of topics
including wage and hour issues, privacy in the workplace,
employment handbooks, and leave law obligations. Mr. Rao also
authors various employment law publications, such as Seyfarth
Shaw’s Tri-State Area Employment Law Updates, and other Labor
and Employment Law Updates, and conducts management and employee
training. |
